Helpful Hints

• For accurate results, wait at least 30 minutes after exercising, bathing or
returning from the outdoors.
• Wait at least 1 minute between readings.
• If multiple readings are taken over a short period of time, use the
average of those readings.
• Because everyone's temperature varies slightly, keep a record of your
body temperature to serve as a reference when judging a fever.

Changing Modes

Switching Between Person or Object
First determine whether you want to
measure the temperature of a person or
an object.
1. Press the
(Power) button to turn on
the thermometer.

Taking the Temperature of a Person:
NOTE: Be sure the thermometer is set to measure the
temperature of a person.
1. If the thermometer is off, press the 'Power' button
to turn the thermometer on.
