Safety Precautions

Please read the following important information about your Powered Subwoofer.
f Important Information
Unplug the product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service
personnel under the following conditions:
When the power cable or plug is damaged or frayed
When liquid has spilled into the product, or it has been exposed to rain or water
When it has been dropped or the housing has been damaged
When it does not operate normally when you follow the operating instructions, or
if it exhibits a distinct change in performance, indicating a need for service
Never open any covers of the powered subwoofer or attempt to service the product
yourself unless otherwise instructed to do so in this manual. Dangerous electrical
voltage inside the product can cause severe injury. Refer all servicing to qualified
service personnel.
Keep the plastic bags for the powered subwoofer, accessories and optional parts out
of the reach of children. If children cover their heads with these plastic bags, this
may result in death by suffocation. Be particularly careful around small children.
Do not use the powered subwoofer in the country or region other than that you
purchased it.
f Safety Instructions
Follow these safety instructions when setting up and using the powered subwoofer.
Use the type of power source indicated on the product. If you are not sure of the
power available, consult your dealer or local electricity company.
Site the product near a wall outlet where the plug can be easily unplugged.
Use only the exclusive AC adapter and power cable included in the package. Do not
use other AC adapters and power cables on the ELPSP01.
Never use a broken AC adapter or power cable. If the AC adapter or the power plug
included in the package is damaged (the core wire is exposed or broken), consult the
store of purchase.
Do not modify the AC adapter and the power cable.
Do not place heavy objects on the AC adapter and the power cable.
Do not forcibly bend or twist the AC adapter cable and the power cable.
Do not place or route the AC adapter and the power cable near an electric heater.
Take the following precautions when handling the AC adapter and the power plug.
Failure to comply with these precautions may result in fire or electric shock.
Do not insert the plug into a dusty outlet.
Do not overload wall outlets, extension cables or multi-socket devices. Doing so
may cause fire or electric shock.
Insert the plug firmly into the outlet.
