Turning the Power OFF

Turn the [Bass] knob counterclockwise to "-".

Turn the [Volume] knob counterclockwise to "OFF".

Troubleshooting

If the ELPSP01 does not work properly, first check the following points before asking
for repair. If this does not solve the problem, consult your store of purchase or the
nearest address indicated in the User's Guide supplied with the projector.
Trouble
The power does
not turn ON.
No sound is
output from the
subwoofer.
Sound output
from the
subwoofer is
low.
A booming,
humming sound
can be heard.
Sound is not
output from the
powered
speaker
connected to the
ELPSP01.
The sound
output from the
powered
speaker
connected to the
ELPSP01 is low.

Cause
The AC adapter or the power cable
is not inserted completely.
The ELPSP01 is not turned ON.
The RCA cable or audio cable is
disconnected.
The [Volume] knob or [Bass]
knob on the ELPSP01 is not at
the appropriate position.
The sound source does not
contain a bass signal.
The RCA cable or audio cable is
not inserted completely.
Flux (induced noise) is leaking
from an external source (e.g. TV).
The following are probable causes
related to the powered speaker
connected to the ELPSP01:
The volume is set to minimum.
The RCA cable or audio cable is
disconnected.
The following is a probable cause
related to the powered speaker
connected to the ELPSP01:
The volume is not set to the
appropriate position.
Action
Disconnect the AC adapter or the
power cable and reconnect it prop-
erly. (

Turn the [Volume] knob to turn the
ELPSP01 ON. (
Disconnect the RCA cable or audio
cable and reinsert it into the
ELPSP01 or the connected device
all the way. (

Turn the [Volume] knob or [Bass]

Play a sound source that contains

Disconnect the cable and reinsert it
