Handling Precautions
Be sure to observe the following precautions. Failure to do so might cause breakdown,
malfunction or damage.
f Handling and Storage Precautions
•
Use and store this product within the operating and storage
temperature ranges specified in this document.
•
Use only the AC adapter and power cable packaged with the ELPSP01.
If the ELPSP01 breaks down as a result of using an AC adapter and power
cable other than the ones packaged with the ELPSP01, this will void the
warranty.
•
Do not install the ELPSP01 at sites subject to vibration and shock.
•
Do not install the ELPSP01 on its side or tilted at an angle.
•
When installing the ELPSP01, use the foot stickers (provided) to
eliminate shakiness.
•
When installing the ELPSP01, install it directly on the floor. Do not lay
anything underneath the ELPSP01.
The ELPSP01 has been designed so that maximum performance is
demonstrated when it is installed on a hard floor.
•
Input of the following special signals to the ELPSP01 may cause an
overcurrent, which will result in the ELPSP01 breaking down:
•
Special CD signal tones for performing audio checks
•
Shock tone produced when the RCA cable, for example, is disconnected
and re-connected with the ELPSP01 power ON
•
Howling produced when a microphone is used (when connecting a general
powered speaker)
Excessive vocal input produced when the ELPSP01 is used for karaoke,
•
for example (when connecting a general powered speaker)
•
The ELPSP01 sometimes picks up noise when it is installed near a TV
or PC screen. If this happens, move the ELPSP01 away from the source
of the noise.
•
The ELPSP01 has been designed to be magnet-proof. It may, however,
cause discolouring or distortion on TVs or PC screens depending on
how it is installed. If this happens, move the ELPSP01 slightly away.
f Caring for your ELPSP01
Wipe off any dirt on the ELPSP01 with a soft, dry cloth. In the case of stubborn dirt,
moisten a soft, dry cloth with a neutral detergent diluted with water, firmly wring, and
wipe lightly. Last of all, wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
