Programming a Playlist

When the CD is stopped, you can select up to 20 CD
tracks to play in any order that you choose.
1. Press the STOP key [17] to make sure that playback
has stopped.
2. Press the PROG key [16]. The LCD display [11] will
flash "01" and the PROG indicator will flash too.
3. Use the NEXT or BACK keys [14, 15] to choose a track
to enter into the playlist.
4. Press the PROG/REPEAT key [16] to save the track
into the playlist. The LCD screen [11] will show the
current playlist track number that was just saved,
and then flash the next playlist track number.
In the above example, the display will show
"01" (the current playlist number) and then
flash "02" (the next playlist number).
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until your playlist is complete,
then press the PROG/REPEAT key [16] to finish the
playlist.
6. Press the PLAY/PAUSE key [18]. Play will start from
the first track in the playlist.

7. Press the STOP key [17] to stop the programmed
playlist, then press the STOP key once more to de-
lete the program and return to normal playback.
Using the Cassette
Player
Press FUNCTION key [19] until the letters "TAP" appear
on the LCD screen.

About the Cassette Keys

The cassette keys are located below the cassette com-
partment [20]. They are numbered 21 to 26 in the sec-
tion "At a Glance" and throughout this manual.

"At a Glance."
