Troubleshooting

Problem
The appliance does not
work.
The motor produces
an unpleasant smell
during processing.
The appliance
stopsrunning because
theblade unit is
blocked.
The blender jar leaks.
Solution
Check if you have plugged in the appliance. Also check if the blender jar
is properly attached.
It is common for a new appliance to give off an unpleasant smell or
emitsome smoke the first few times it is used. This phenomenon stops
after you have used the appliance a few times. The appliance may also
give off anunpleasant smell or emit some smoke if it has been used too
long. In this case switch off the appliance and let it cool down to room
temperature.
Switch off the appliance and use a spatula to dislodge the ingredients
that block the blade unit. We also advise you to process a smaller
quantityand/or to cut ingredients into smaller pieces before you put
them in theblender jar.
Switch off the appliance and pour out the ingredients. Then remove the
bladeunit. Check if the sealing ring is assembled properly on the blade
unit.
