The Philips AVENT Digital Thermometer Set accurately and conveniently measures your baby’s body temperature orally, axially and rectally. The regular soother and the soother thermometer are suitable for use with children aged 0-12 months.

However, because rectal measurement is inherently more accurate than oral measurement, the digital flexible-tip thermometer gives you an opportunity to reassure yourself.
