Question
Can I replace the
batteries of the
thermometers myself?
What does the 'Err'
indication on the
display mean?
What does 'Lo' or 'Hi'
on the display mean?
Answer
You can replace the battery of the flexible-tip
thermometer yourself. For instructions on
how to replace this battery, see chapter
'Replacing the battery'. The battery of the
soother thermometer cannot be replaced.
When this battery is empty, the soother
thermometer must be discarded.
The 'Err' indication can appear on the display
of both the flexible-tip thermometer and the
soother thermometer and means that there is
a malfunction. Press the on/off button to
switch off the thermometer, then press the
on/off button again to switch on the
thermometer. Proceed to measure the
temperature as usual.
The 'Lo'or 'Hi' indications on the display mean
that the temperature cannot be measured
because the temperature is outside the
temperature range. Press the on/off button to
switch off the thermometer. Check if the
thermometer is correctly positioned. Press
the on/off button again to switch on the
thermometer and restart the measurement.
