Areas of application
The visors described are specially constructed to be attached to protective
helmets in accordance with EN 443:2008 for fire services, ambulance
personnel and emergency services and are to be used with them.
VF3-HighTemp visor
• yellowish pane
• Dimensions: approx. 335 mm × 135 mm (W × H)
• Size ranges: 48-58 mm und 59-65 mm
The "VF3 HighTemp" visor is labelled with a "+". It is intended to be used
for fire fighting applications (e.g. fire extinguishing operations) and to be
used in cases where considerable heat and/or flames are to be expected.
This visor is only intended for use with fire fighters' helmets
(see EN 443:2008).
VF3-Rescue
• Clear pane
• Dimensions: approx. 335 mm × 135 mm (W × H)
• Size ranges: 48-58 mm and 59-65 mm
The "VF3 Rescue" is labelled with a "=". It is intended for use in general
applications (e.g. rescue operations) and in such cases where there is no
foreseeable danger of significant exposure to heat and/or flames. This visor
is only intended for use with fire fighters' helmets (see EN 443:2008).

VF3-Wire visor
• Woven mesh
• Dimensions: approx. 305 mm × 185 mm (W × H)
• Size range: 48-65 mm
The "VF3-Wire" visor is intended for use in general applications (e.g.
rescue operations) and in such cases where there is no foreseeable danger
of significant exposure to heat and/or flames, sparks, splashes from
dangerous liquids or molten materials or electricity. This visor is only
intended for use with fire fighters' helmets (see EN 443:2008).
Liability for function and damage respectively
In all cases, liability for the function of SCHUBERTH VF3 series visors is borne
by the owner or user, insofar as SCHUBERTH VF3 series visors are used by
persons not belonging to SCHUBERTH GmbH or trained by SCHUBERTH GmbH,
are improperly serviced or repaired or where they are used in a manner
which is contrary to their intended use.
SCHUBERTH GmbH shall not be liable for damage caused as a result of not
observing the information provided above.
