OPERATION
1. For dry location use only. Do not expose to water.
2. When not in use, unplug unit completely.
3. Unit will become warm during operation.
CAUTION

2. Ensure jack is plugged into the trimmer unit before plugging the adapter into the
outlet.
3. Do not operate any appliance that has a damaged output cord or housing.
4. Always unplug the unit before cleaning or when not in use.
5. Be sure voltage is correct before plugging in. For connection to supply not in the U.S.A.
use an attachment plug adapter of the proper confi guration for power outlet. The
included adapter automatically adjusts to the input voltage. DO NOT USE A VOLTAGE
CONVERTER.
TRIMMER CHARGING PRECAUTIONS
• Avoid charging the batteries at temperatures below 41° F (5° C) or above 95° F (35° C).
• Avoid charging the batteries in direct sunlight or near a radiating heat source.
• Even though the trimmer may not be used for an extended period, charge once a
month to preserve battery life.
• The power cord cannot be replaced. If it is damaged, the AC adapter should be
discarded.
TRIMMER OPERATING PRECAUTIONS
• This trimmer has a built-in rechargeable battery. Do not throw into fi re, apply heat, or
charge, use, or leave in a high-temperature environment.
