Installation
Step 1: Mount the bracket to the wall
Install the unit so that the top of the sprayhead
measures 33"–45" (838mm–1143mm) from the
finished floor. For use as an eye/face wash, the
top of the sprayheads of the unit must be 33–45
inches from where the user stands per ANSI
Z358.1. The unit must also be placed a minimum
of 6" away from the nearest wall or obstruction.
1 . Rough in ½" NPT supply piping (by installer) from
the wall where the drench hose is desired .
2 . Using the bracket flange as a template, mark the
anchor/screw locations on the wall .
3 . Mount the bracket to the wall with two suitable
anchors and ¼-20 screws (supplied by installer) .
Mount in a location unobstructed to the user .
Step 2: Connect the hose assembly
Apply pipe sealant (supplied by installer) to all
male threaded pipe joints.
1 . Connect rigid end of the drench hose to the ½"
elbow supplied then attach elbow to ball valve and
than the ball valve to the 1/2 NPT supply from the
wall, be sure to allow clearance for full activation of
handle when installed .
2 . Install the valve body onto the swivel end of the
hose .
3 . Mount the safety sign to the wall using the sign-
mounting hardware supplied by installer .
4 . Open the water supply line . Test for leaks and
adequate water flow .
5 . Orientate yoke on wall bracket to a usable position
using the swivel hose fitting so that the fixture is
ready for use .
