WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS
• For outdoor use only.
• cULus LISTED for wet location use.
• Fixture designed for wall mount to an outlet box only. Install fixture to outlet box marked for
use in wet locations.
• Fixture must be connected to a 120-volt, 60 Hz power source. Any other connection voids
the warranty.
• Fixture should be installed by persons with experience in household wiring or by a qualified
electrician. The electrical system, and the method of electrically connecting the fixture to it,
must be in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local building codes.
• Always use same wattage and type of bulb that was included with the fixture. Failure to do
so will void the warranty.
• This device complies with Part 18 of the FCC Rules. Any changes or modifications to the
product described in this instruction sheet that are not expressly approved by Cooper
Lighting could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits pursuant to part
18 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against
harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can
radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does
cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by
one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver
is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

INSTALLING YOUR FIXTURE
1. Turn power OFF at main breaker that runs to the junction box where fixture will be installed.
2. Attach adjustable mounting bracket (D) to junction box on wall using two of the mounting
plate screws provided (G). Either the #6 or #8 screws (G) provided will fit most standard

junction boxes. Position the bracket (D) so that the mounting studs (D) for the fixture are
horizontal. Tighten the rotation screws (D) on the bracket.
3. Loosen lens screw (E) in the bottom of the fixture completely out and remove the lens
and bulb.
4. Wire the fixture as described in "Wiring your fixture".
5. Position the fixture so that the bracket screws pass through the backplate of the fixture
housing (A). Tighten the housing (A) to the mounting bracket (D) with the knobs (D)
provided. Make sure your fixture is straight. Mounting bracket (D) does swivel so you can
adjust to get fixture straight.
6. Install the bulb (C) as described in "Installing the bulb" and put lens (B) back onto fixture
housing (A). Insert lens screw (E) and tighten to secure the lens. Be sure the lens edges
and lens screw tab are fully seated on the inside of the fixture housing (A).
7. Add silicone caulk around fixture to help maintain a weather resistant seal.
8. Turn power back ON. Bulb (C) should glow dimly at first building to full power in 1-2 minutes.
NOTE: During daytime installation, the bulb should turn off after 45 seconds to one minute.
This is normal operation. The bulb will restart at night and operate until dawn.
WIRING YOUR FIXTURE
1. Turn the power OFF at main fuse/breaker box.
2. Connect the black fixture wire to the black supply wire (hot). Secure with a wire connector (F).
3. Connect the white fixture wire to the white supply wire (neutral). Secure with a wire
connector (F).
4. Connect the bare ground wire on the mounting bracket (D) to an appropriate supply
ground or grounded junction box. Secure with a wire connector (F).
NOTE: Be careful to connect the wires correctly. Make sure no bare strands of wire are
sticking out of the wire connectors (F).
INSTALLING THE BULB
1. Rotate the lamp and line up the pins on the bulb (C) with the holes in the socket.
2. Snap the bulb (C) securely into the socket.
NOTE: When replacing the bulb (C), you must always use the same wattage and type of bulb
that was originally supplied with the fixture. Failure to do so could result in damage to the
fixture and bulb (C). This will void the warranty. Always turn OFF or disconnect power before
servicing to reduce risk of electrical shock.
MANUAL OPERATION
NOTE: You may choose to override the photo control.
This will allow you to control the fixture from a wall
switch without the dusk-to-dawn feature.
1. Snap the photo control cover (H) over the photo
control on the face of the fixture (Fig. 1).
