- INSTALLATION
4.1 Starting
•
Prepare and fi t the entire assembly (rake head) before attempting to use the machine.
•
Remove the tool from its box.
•
Assemble the teeth (15) onto their support (16) by inserting them (15) into the holes (16) and hitting them by means of a small rubber
hammer till they overcome the small protrusion.
•
Assemble the teeth support (16) onto the connection. The teeth support (16) is fi tted with an anti-proof system with a small protrusion
(24) which has to reach the open part. Insert the fi xing plate (21), then put the nuts (23) into their seat on the connection and lock with
the two screws (22).
•
Remove the power unit (1) and the cable (13) from their box.
•
Assemble the power unit onto the extension pole with the chosen harvesting head. Insert the shaft (10) and tighten the screws (2) of
the clamp connection (3).
•
Join the power supply cable (13) with the connector (4) taking care of the male and female connections. Use the anti-error device for
the proper connectors insertion.
•
Start the tool by means of the ON/OFF switch (7) and check the led light (9) is on.
•
Assemble the tool onto the extension pole (11), insert the shaft (25) and tighten the screws (20) of the clamp connection.
IMPORTANT!
When switching the tool on, two operative modes can be selected, either 1150 rpm speed 1 or 1250 rpm speed 2.
WARNING!
•
When starting the power unit, the harvesting head assembled on the extension pole begins moving immediately. Be very
careful when positioning the tool. It shall be far from people and things. Negletting this warning could mean creating dangers
for the operator.

- USE OF THE TOOL
5.1 Starting the tool
Before starting working, wear adequate clothing (see picture G) and check that all the safety devices are well assembled and can operate
properly.
•
Before starting work, connect the terminals to the battery; the red terminal must be connected to the positive pole, while the black
terminal must be connected to the negative pole.
•
Hold the tool with one hand on the extension pole, close to the hand grip, and use the other hand to select the ON mode of switch
(7).
•
The tool is now ready to be used.
WARNING!
•
Use the tool only for the aims described in chapter "Product description". Any other use may cause injuries.
•
Start the tool only when it is among the branches. Any improper use damages the tool and causes excessive battery power
consumption.
