Hints on Operation
1. Always use the water urn on a flat level surface.
2. Do not fill the water urn with water above the maximum level indicator.
3. Connect the plug to the socket.
4. Switch ON and screw the knob to select the target temperature. The red
„heating" pilot lamp will light up and the water will start to heat up.
5. Once the boiling temperature has been reached the red heating light will
go out and the green "keep warm" light will illuminate.
6. Stand your cup on the holder close to the tap to prevent the splashing of
hot water.
7. Use the tap to dispense water.
8. When the water is topped up the water urn will automatically re-boil.
9. When about three cups of water are remaining in the tank, turn the
appliance off and unplug it from the electric outlet.
10. Always make sure at least three cups of water are remaining in the tank to
prevent a boil-dry accident.
11. The urns can be very heavy when filled with water. Urns should not be
carried or moved when full of water as the weight and unsteady load can
cause injury or strain. Urns should be placed in their position of use and
filled by using a portable hose or several trips with a smaller, manageable
container (such as a jug). To ensure operator safety in lifting the machines,
urns should never be moved when filled with more than 5 litres (5 litres =
approximately 5Kg).
