Cleaning the urn
a. Only clean once the plug has been removed and the water urn has
completely cooled down
b. Never immerse the water urn into water
c. Pour a small amount of hot water into the tank, brush the sides and rinse
with hot water until it runs clean
d. Do not use any cleaning products which can cause a health hazard
e. Use a soft cloth to wipe the urn body dry. Do not use abrasive materials to
avoid scratches
f. Always remember to empty and rinse the urn with hot water before using
again
De-scaling the urn
a. It is important to de-scale the water urn at regular intervals
b. Limescale build up can affect the workings of the water urn element
c. Please note most supermarket de-scaling products are based on treating a
2-litre kettle
d. Always rinse thoroughly after de-scaling
