YOU MUST READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE HANDLING, INSTALLING,
OR USING THIS ATTACHMENT. Crack Chaser wire filaments are extremely sharp and can cause seri-
ous cuts and puncture wounds if touched. Always wear work gloves when handling. Contact with rotat-
ing Crack Chaser wheel can entangle or cut through clothing and gloves, causing serious injuries. Avoid
contact with wheel while unit is running. Crack Chaser may throw debris and broken filaments forcefully
during normal operation. Operator and others within a 15 m (50 ft.) area must wear protective clothing
and safety glasses with side shields, or safety glasses with full face shield. Material being brushed may
contain hazardous substances that can be released as dust during normal operation. Wear a dust mask
or respirator that meets current ANSI Z88.2 requirements to prevent inhalation of hazardous dust particles.
Install and use Crack Chaser attachment only on models listed, and as use only as instructed. DO NOT
USE damaged or unevenly worn wheels. Failure to follow all instructions can result in serious injuries to
users and bystanders.
Some dust created by power grinding and other construction activities contains chemicals
known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
Some examples of these chemicals are: lead from lead-based paints and crystalline silica
from bricks and cement and other masonry products. Your risk from these exposures varies,
depending on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemi-
cals: work in a well-ventilated area, and work with safety equipment, such as those dust
masks that are specially designed to filter out microscopic particles.
