operatIon
The Crack Chaser is intended for use in cleaning cracks, seams, joints, and crevices with a minimum width wider than
5 mm (3/16 in.), and up to 25 mm (1 in.) deep in concrete, asphalt, bricks, paving stones, patio blocks, and other solid,
flat surfaces. Crack chasers may be used to remove dirt and debris, or to prepare hard surfaces for filling and repair.
Crack Chaser's twisted wire filaments act as a highly abrasive rotary brush, removing dirt, debris, and loose material
as the wheel rotates. Applying light forward pressure as the unit is operated will allow the cut ends of the filaments to
provide good cleaning action, and help prolong the life of the wheel.
DO NOT use the Crack Chaser on wood, plastic or composition decks, landscape timbers, or on other soft surfaces
where Crack Chaser's aggressive abrasive action may damage these soft materials.
Cleaning depth is controlled by the position of the guide wheel and the height of the powerhead during normal
operation. Maintain a constant cleaning depth by holding the unit in the same position during cleaning.
