STEP FAN CONTROL
Selection of operating speed
Using Fan key it is possible to select the following
speeds:
AUTO
Automatic fan speed: depending on the set

temperature and the room air temperature
WITH 3-SPEED CONFIGURATIONS AND ON/OFF
VALVE(S) OR W/O VALVE(S):
1 = low speed
2 = medium speed
3 = maximum speed
COOLING

WITH 4-SPEED CONFIGURATIONS AND ON/OFF
VALVE(S) OR W/O VALVE(S):
sm = extra-low speed
1 = low speed
2 = medium speed
3 = maximum speed

N.B.: in case of 4-speed configuration and valve, ventila-
tion in heating mode is shifted by 0.5°C to permit
a natural convection phase

MODULATING FAN
As in the case of step control, the modulating fan control logic

provides for two possible operating modes:

- fixed speed operation
The operating mode is selected by pressing the
which switches between the automatic mode (the word AUTO
appears) and the display of the percentage value of the fixed
speed (which flashes in place of the temperature SETPOINT).
While this display mode (the word "FAN" will also flash below
the room temperature value) is active it is possible to change
the speed percentage value using the UP and DOWN buttons
(within any limits set by the manufacturer) and confirm fixed-
speed operation by pressing the
