INSTALLATION, USE AND MAINTENANCE.
G E N E R A L
1. After unpacking, make sure that the appliance is intact with no visible signs of damage
caused during transport. Should you have any doubts, do not use the appliance and take
it to an authorised IMETEC Service Centre.
2. Before connecting the appliance, check that the rating plate specifications, as indicated on
the appliance correspond with your mains supply.
3. Do not use adapters, multiple sockets and/or extension cords. If the plug of the appliance
is incompatible with the mains socket, you should consult a qualified electrician.
4. This appliance must only be used exclusively as a footwarmer as indicated in the
instructions. Any other use is to be considered hazardous. The manufacturer cannot be
held responsible for any damage due to improper or incorrect use.
5. Certain fundamental guidelines must be respected when using any sort of electrical
appliance. Specifically:
- Never touch the appliance with hands or feet that are wet or damp.
- Never pull on the power cord, or the appliance itself, to remove the plug from the socket.
- Do not leave the appliance exposed to the elements (rain, sun, etc.).
6. Before cleaning or servicing the appliance, disconnect it by removing the plug from the
socket.
7. Should the footwarmer or protection fuse break down and/or fail to work properly, turn off
the appliance and do not tamper with it. For any repairs, take it to an authorised IMETEC
Service Centre.
