Note: If necessary, the protective cover can be adjusted laterally
so that the saw blade can turn freely and with sufficient space
under the protective cover.
MOUNTING THE JIGSAW
CAUTION! Installation and removal of the machine plate and
riving knife are described once, in section 4. The installation
instructions apply for all devices to be mounted.
Insert the gap insert for jigsaws into the machine plate (Fig. 7.A).
Align the jigsaw on the machine plate in such a way that the saw
blade runs in the centre of the saw opening (Fig. 7.B). Now
mount the jigsaw as illustrated (Fig. 7.C). Mount the machine
plate and once again check that the jigsaw blade is running
freely. Fasten the protective cover centred over the jigsaw blade
(Fig. 7.D).
8. MOUNTING A MITRE SAW
Mitre saws may be mounted on the table using the fastening
bolts supplied in the scope of delivery. Place the mitre saw in the
centre of the table with the mounting holes above the two slots
in the table plate. Next secure the mitre saw. To do this, insert the
bolts and the small washers through the mounting holes and
table plates from above. Fasten it from below using the large
washers and nuts (Fig. 8).
CAUTION! The mitre saw must be secured to the table using at
least two fastening bolts, four washers and two nuts. The mitre
saw must not be used if the mounting holes in your saw do not
align with the slots in the table plate.
9. USING THE CLAMPING BLOCKS
The four clamping blocks supplied provide a wide variety of
options for fastening your workpiece (Fig. 9).
10. TRANSPORT
To transport the table, remove all loose parts from the table.
Then fold up the table and transport it as illustrated

• Do not spray the product with water. There is risk of electric
shock if water penetrates into the power tool and the worktop
may be damaged.
• WARNING! Injury hazard from the power tool starting up
unexpectedly. Pull the mains plug out of the socket before
cleaning the machine table or the power tool.
MasCleaning the machine and power tool
• CAUTION! Lack of proper cleaning may cause damage to the
product. Clean the product after each use.
• CAUTION! Using aggressive solvents or cleaning agents may
cause damage to the product.
• After each use, remove dust and chips with a hand brush or
a vacuum cleaner.
• Clean the ventilation holes of the power tool with a lint-free
cloth.
12. STORAGE
For space-saving storage, the table can be placed on the
clamping blocks as illustrated (Fig. 11).
Note: On pages 22 to 24, you can find accessories and spare
parts that are available separately.

13. SPECIAL ACCESSORIES FOR THE
MASTER cut 2600 TWO EXTRA ATTACHABLE
RIVING KNIVES, ART. NO. 6916000 AND 6917000
DESIGNED FOR CIRCULAR HAND SAWS WITHOUT
A RIVING KNIFE
CAUTION! The special accessories described here are only
compatible with the MASTER cut 2600.
CAUTION! The following section describes how this special
accessory functions and is operated and illustrations are provided
from page 25 in part 1 of the operating manual.
INTENDED USE
The two riving knives allow use of circular hand saws that have
no riving knife.
Riving knife 6916000 is designed for circular hand saws with
circular saw blades that have a maximum diameter of 159 mm
and a cutting width between 2.4 mm and 2.8 mm.
Riving knife 6917000 is designed for operating circular hand saws
with saw blades that have a diameter of min. 160 mm to max.
200 mm, a cutting width between 2.4 mm and 2.8 mm and
a maximum cutting depth of 66 mm.
CAUTION! Before using the special accessories, always read the
general safety instructions, the safety instructions for circular
hand saws and the original instruction manual accompanying
the circular hand saw without riving knife.
RIVING KNIVES ART. NO. 6916000 AND 6917000
The product available as riving knife 6916000 includes the
following components: 1x riving knife (for a max. circular saw
blade diameter of 159 mm), 1x locating bolt with clamping
sleeve (long version), 1x setting gauge (Fig. 12.1).
The product available as riving knife 6917000 includes the
following components: 1x riving knife (for a max. circular saw
blade diameter of min. 160 mm to max. 200 mm), 1x locating
bolt with clamping sleeve (short version), 1x setting gauge
(Fig. 12.2).
CAUTION! The following section describes how the riving knife
(art. no. 6916000) for circular hand saws with a max. saw blade
diameter of 159 mm is assembled and functions. The riving knife
with art. no. 6917000 for circular hand saws with a saw blade
diameter of min. 160 mm to max. 200 mm is assembled and
functions in the same way.
Note: Both riving knifes are delivered in pre-assembled condition.
Loosen the front knurled nut up to half-way. Tighten the rear
knurled nut as illustrated (Fig. 12.A). With the clamping sleeve
loosely attached, push the locating bolt into the machine plate
up to the safety switch (Fig. 12.B). Insert the riving knife into the
mounting slot of the locating bolt (Fig. 12.C). Turn the riving knife
until it is set to 0°. Subsequently tighten the clamping sleeve
(Fig. 12.D). Turn over the machine plate and insert it into the
cutout in the worktop (Fig. 12.E).
Mounting and aligning the circular hand saw with mounted
riving knife: Release the cutting depth lock on the circular hand
saw and retract the protective pendulum cover. Place the circular
hand saw on the gap insert, making sure that it is centred on t
he cutout in the gap insert. Set the circular hand saw to the
maximum cutting depth and tighten the cutting depth lock
(Fig. 12.F).
