Important Information
Maintenance and Care
• Clean the microphone using a damp cloth. Never use
household cleaning products (washing powder, soap, etc.)or
alcohol to clean the device.
• When the microphone is not in use, turn it off and store
it safely.
• Protect the microphone from excessive moisture
(bathing, swimming) and heat (radiator, car dashboard).
• Protect it from excessive shock and vibration
• Protect the microphone and charger sockets from debris
and dirt.
General warnings
• Keep this device out of reach of children.
• The microphone uses low-powered digitally coded
transmissions in order to communicate with other wireless
devices. Although unlikely, nearby electronic devices may be
affected. In such cases, move the microphone away from the
affected electronic device.
• When using the microphone and it is affected by
electromagnetic interference, move away from the source
of the interference.
• Avoid exposing your product to rain, moisture or other
liquids to protect against damage to the product or
personal injury.
• Keep the product and any cords and cables away from
operating machinery.
• If the product overheats, has been dropped or damaged,
has a damaged cord or plug, or has been dropped in a liquid,
discontinue use and contact your hearing care professional.
• Dispose of the product according to local standards and
regulations.
• Do not use in areas where there is a risk of explosion.
General precautions
• Do not use this device in locations where the use of
electronic devices are prohibited.
• X-ray radiation (e.g., CT/MRI scans) may adversely affect the
functioning of this device. Switch it off before undergoing the
procedure and keep it outside the room.
• High-powered electronic equipment, larger electronic
installations and metallic structures may impair and
significantly reduce the operating range.
• If the sound processor does not respond to the device
because of an unusual type of interference, move away from
the source of this interference.
• Your sound processors and this device were given unique
communication codes during fitting. This ensures that the
device will not affect sound processors worn by others.
• Do not alter or modify this device.
• Opening the microphone might damage it. If problems
occur that cannot be resolved, consult your hearing care
professional.
• The microphone may only be repaired by an authorised
service centre.
• Do not use the microphone in areas where RF transmission is
prohibited, e.g., in planes, etc.
• Only connect the microphone to connections for which it is
explicitly intended.
Built-in battery care
Please observe the following:
• Your product is powered by a rechargeable battery. A new
battery performs optimally after two or three complete
charge and discharge cycles.
• The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of
times, but will eventually wear out.
• Unplug the charger from the main socket and the product
when not in use.
• If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge
over time.
• Leaving the product in hot places will reduce the battery's
capacity and service life.
• A product with a cold battery may not work temporarily,
even if fully charged. Battery performance is particularly
limited in temperatures well below freezing.
Battery warning
Caution: The battery used in this product may
present a risk of fire or chemical burn if misused.
• The battery in your product cannot be removed or replaced
by the user. Do not attempt to open the product. Any
attempt to do so may result in damage. Using other batteries
may present a risk of fire or explosion and void the warranty.
• Only recharge the microphone with the charger that was
supplied with the product.
• Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Please
recycle when possible.
• Do not dispose of the battery as household waste or in a fire
as it may explode.
• Batteries may also explode if damaged.
Charger care
Please observe the following if the product is supplied with
a charger:
• Do not attempt to charge your product with anything other
than the AC adapter provided. The use of other chargers may
damage or destroy the product and could be dangerous.
Use of other chargers may invalidate any approval or void
the warranty.
• For availability of approved accessories, please check with
your hearing care professional.
• Charge the product according to the instructions provided.
Charger warning
• When you disconnect the power cord, grasp and pull the
plug, not the cord.
• Never use a power supply that is damaged.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the power supply as it may
expose you to dangerous electric shock.
• Avoid charging your product in extremely high or low
temperatures and do not use the charger outdoors or in
damp areas.
• Do not charge the microphone while it is being worn.

El micrófono facilita la comunicación entre dos personas y
se puede utilizar como micrófono de mesa para captar lo
que dicen varias personas. Asimismo, el micrófono facilita la
conexión con sistemas de circuito cerrado, sistemas FM (se
requiere un receptor FM Europin) y señales de una entrada de
línea (line-in).

El micrófono está destinado a mejorar su capacidad de seguir
el habla o escuchar otras señales de audio. La función básica
del micrófono es transferir señales del micrófono u otros
dispositivos de audio a un procesador de sonido Cochlear.

Carga de la batería
Véase la figura
• Cargue la batería durante al menos 3 horas antes de usar el
micrófono por primera vez, incluso si los indicadores de la
batería muestran que está totalmente cargada.
• Durante el proceso de carga, el LED de estado brillará de
color rojo. Cuando la batería esté totalmente cargada y siga
conectada al cargador, el LED de estado brillará de color
verde con parpadeos rojos intermitentes cada 2 segundos.
• Cargar una batería agotada dura unas 3 horas. El cargador
se puede conectar durante la noche; no es posible
sobrecargar la batería.
• Por razones de seguridad, solo recargue la batería con
cargadores suministrados por Cochlear.
Aviso: No cargue el micrófono mientras lo
tiene colocado.
Encendido y apagado
Véase la figura
1. Para encender su micrófono pulse y mantenga presionado
el botón de Encendido/Apagado hasta que el LED de
estado cambie a color verde. Después de soltar el botón de
Encendido/Apagado, el LED de estado parpadeará de color
verde. El micrófono se encenderá siempre en el modo de
micrófono.
2. Para apagar su micrófono, pulse y mantenga presionado el
botón de Encendido/Apagado hasta que el LED de estado
cambie a color rojo.
Nota: Para proteger el micrófono mientras no lo utiliza,
colóquelo en la bolsa de transporte que se incluye con
el producto.
Emparejamiento con el procesador
de sonido
Es posible emparejar su procesador de sonido Cochlear
con tres dispositivos de streaming Cochlear como máximo.
Seleccione un canal separado para cada dispositivo conectado
con el procesador de sonido.
1. Apague su procesador de sonido Cochlear.
2. Encienda su micrófono.

Pulse el botón de emparejamiento una vez (dos veces
para el canal 2, tres veces para el canal 3) utilizando la
punta de un bolígrafo o un objeto similar. El LED de estado
parpadeará de color amarillo y el dispositivo estará en
modo de emparejamiento durante 20 segundos. El número
de parpadeos del LED en cada secuencia corresponderá al
canal con el que se esté emparejando el micrófono (dos
parpadeos - canal 2, tres parpadeos - canal 3).
4. Mientras el modo de emparejamiento está activado,
encienda su procesador de sonido. El éxito del
emparejamiento se indicará mediante una melodía
audible reproducida en el procesador de sonido, o una luz
parpadeante en el procesador de sonido (según el tipo de
procesador de sonido).
