Attaching Extension Cord to Trimmer
(Fig. A, D)
An extension cord retainer is built into the switch handle
that helps prevent the tool from coming unplugged.
1. Overlap the pigtail cord with the extension cord and tie
the two cords in a knot as shown in Figure D.
2. Double the extension cord several inches from the end.
Feed the loop onto the cord retainer

3. Gently tug on the cord to insure that it is firmly retained
in the trimmer's handle.

Never attempt to lock a

CAUTION:
greater than 3/4" (19 mm). Use the trimmer only
for cutting normal shrubbery around houses and
buildings. NOTE: Power Saw can cut stems and
branches up to 1.5" (38.1 mm).
To turn the tool "ON", push the lock off button

Rotating the Rear Handle (Fig. F)
The rear handle has the capability of rotating 180°. There are
optional stops at 0°, 45° and 90° which are ideal for side cuts
and rounded or irregular shaped shrubs.
To rotate the rear handle, press in on the rotate button
and turn in the desired direction as shown in Figure F.
Figure F depicts the rear handle in 90° left, 0° and 90°
right positions.
