FASTENING SYSTEM "D-RING"
Insert the free end of the strap through the rings. Pull the end of the strap until it is firmly pressed against the jaw (Pic.2).
Once this is done it should be no longer possible to remove the helmet. Check this by grabbing the back of the
helmet and pushing it forward. The helmet should not slide over the head and should remain firmly in place.
If the helmet falls off or rotates freely on the head, tighten the strap until obtaining the correct pressure and then
repeat the test.
If, after repeating the test, you still cannot effectively tighten the fastening system, refrain from using the helmet.
Only after you have checked the correct tension of the strap, attach the free end and block it with the press stud
on the release tab (Pic. 3).
Only use the release tab to remove the helmet! Do not unlock the release tab while riding.
If the release system is not working properly, refrain from using the helmet and contact Suomy authorised staff.
HELMET PEAK
Adjustment
Replacement
USE AND MAINTENANCE
Loosen without removing the four screws on the left and right side (Pic. 4). Adjust the
position of the peak by turning it up or down to obtain the desired position (Pic. 5). Once
you have found the correct position, tighten the four (4) screws and check the position of
the peak.
Loosen and remove the four screws on the left and right side (Pic. 4). Place the new peak
so that the holes match with the threaded holes placed on the cap. Insert the screws
into the appropriate slots without completely tightening them. Adjust the peak position
and lock it as in the previous paragraph.
