• At the same time the display (3) shows "OFF", indicating that the heating process is
switched off.
• The fans (4) stop when the temperature falls below approx. 100 °C. After some
time the displays (1, 3) go out and the grill is in standby mode. This is indicated by
an illuminated dot in the left display (1).
• Switch off the grill at the main switch (7) when it is no longer in use.
• If you no longer wish to continue grilling, you should clean the grill as described in
the chapter "Cleaning and Maintenance".
Using the penetration thermometer
To ensure that your steak is optimally cooked, you can monitor the cooking process of
your meat during tempering by using the penetration thermometer. The thermometer can
measure in the range of 0-99 °C.
1. Activate the thermometer by inserting the jack plug into the socket, to the right of the
display. Now the currently measured temperature appears in the lower part of the
display.
2. Slide the thermometer into the center of your meat.
The following table gives approximate guideline values for core temperatures for
corresponding cooking stages of beef steaks:
Note: The thermometer can be destroyed by excessive heat. Do not use it with a grill
temperature of more than 200 °C.
CAUTION
Risk of burns! The thermometer can become hot due to the effects of
heat. Use grill gloves or similar aids.
