REPAIR AND CLEANING PROCEDURE
CLEAN OR REPLACE THE PISTON VALVE
1. Take away the inlet body, as described in "Clean or replace the foot valve".
2. Use the outlet body (66) to fix the pump, then unscrew the tube (76) from body (66). Remove seal (67). A proper Stillson wrench (or similar)
could be needed.
3. Take away the tube (76), taking into acount that seal (71) offers some friction resistance.
4. Rod (68) is visible now. Take away pin (74) with a pin punch.
5. Unscrew valve (72) and piston (75).
6. Take away ring (73), circlip (69) and seal (71).
Carefully review all the components and it´s strongly recommended to replace them if some kind of wear/damage signs are present. Also, all seals
should be replaced.
7. Assemble the pump, following these steps in reverse order.
NOTE: all these parts are included in the kit 754840.
