Maintenance
WARNING!
Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum based
products, penetrating oils, etc. come in contact with plastic
parts. They contain chemicals that can damage, weaken or
destroy plastic.
WARNING!
To avoid serious personal injury, always remove the battery
pack from the tool when cleaning or performing any
maintenance.
Storage
Do not place the battery pack in the sun or in a warm or cold
environment. Keep at normal room temperature with dry conditions.
If the battery will not be used for 2 months or more, please store the
battery in a room temperature environment. Please half charge before
storage and charge the battery for 2 hours every 2 months.
Disconnect the battery from the power tool or charger.
When the battery is not in use, put it in a safe place so that it does not
endanger others. Secure it against unauthorized use.
Store the battery out of the reach of children.
Store indoors in a dry and safe location. Protect it from dirt and damage.
To ensure maximum battery life: Store with a charge of about 40%.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects,
like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects,
that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the
battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
Do not store spare batteries unused for extended periods of time. If you
have multiple batteries be sure to use them in rotation.
