Warranty

The information contained in this document is subject to possible variations without prior notice.
The device is guaranteed against defects regarding materials and manufacturing for a period of 24
months from the date of purchase according to the terms of the warranty certificate. During the
warranty period, the manufacturer, in the event of device failure, will decide whether to repair or
replace the defective product.

Services under warranty

For services or repairs under warranty, the device must be sent to FARO S.p.A via the dealer. The
warranty does not cover the travel expenses of technicians, shipping costs and transport risks, which
are borne by the buyer. In any case, the buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs (including
taxes) of the products from another country.

Limitations on the warranty

The warranty covers the replacement or repair of defective components due to manufacturing defects,
including the required labour. The above may not be applied to defects resulting from maintenance,
improper or inappropriate use by the Customer, unauthorised modifications to the device, use of the
product under environmental conditions other than those specified in this manual or by inadequate
preparation of the installation site. No compensation will be due during the time required to replace
or repair the device. Replacement will in any case be decided by the manufacturer and only if the
device is verified to be totally unusable and repair not possible. Any direct or indirect damage of any
nature to persons or property from the use or suspension of use of the device is excluded.

Safety

To preserve the original safety features of the product, the Customer must not replace any part or
make any unauthorised changes.
This symbol focuses attention on a procedure (s) whose failure or partial compliance may produce
partial or total damage to the product or lead to injury to the operator. Before performing the
procedures reported after this symbol, be sure to fully understand and comply with the specified
conditions.
