2.0 Installing the motion detector
In a few simple steps, you can connect the motion sensor with your e-Centre and use
your motion sensor. Follow the steps below to install the motion sensor.
2.1 Installing the batteries
1.
Remove the screw at the bottom and remove the backside of the motion detector
by sliding it away.

Remove now the screw of the battery compartment and remove the battery
cover.
3.
Insert the batteries in the battery compartment and fix the battery cover with the
screw. Do not place the backside of the motion sensor back yet!
4.
After installing the batteries, the sensor will give an intermittent tone during 2
minutes while the sensor is warming up. After the sensor is warmed up, a long
tone will be heard.
2.2 Connecting the motion sensor with your Eminent e-
Centre
There are two possible situations when assigning the motion sensor to the Eminent e-
Centre.
1.
The motion sensor will be assigned to the Eminent e-Centre during the initial
installation process of the e-Centre. The installation wizard of the e-Centre will
move along several steps to complete the installation of all your e-Domotica
devices, using the e-Centre's own website "http://e-Centre". Therefore, follow the
steps on screen. Use the metal button at the back during the installation
procedure.
2.
Assign the motion sensor to the already installed e-Centre. This is described in
chapter '2.3 Add the motion sensor to the already installed e-Centre'.

Make sure the computer is turned on and is completely started.
2.
Open your computer's web browser.
3.
Fill in "http://e-Centre" in the address bar of your web browser and press the
'Enter' key on your keyboard.
4.
The openings screen of the Eminent e-Centre will be shown.
5.
Click the 'Add' button, the e-Centre will start to search for new e-Domotica
devices.
