5. Remove the quick connect fitting by turning counterclockwise with a 7/8" wrench while holding the liner
outlet fitting with a 1" wrench. Apply 2 wraps of teflon tape around the quick connect fitting threads in a
clockwise direction. Install quick connect fitting in new liner by turning clockwise with a 7/8" wrench while
holding the liner outlet fitting with a 1" wrench. Quick connect fitting should be tightened snug against the
face of the liner outlet fitting. ( See Figure 5. )
6. Insert new liner into backpack through zippered opening on the back. ( See Figure 6. )
7. Feed filler neck up through large opening in backpack and install filler neck nut, tighten clockwise by
hand before using a rubber strap wrench to tighten completely. ( See Figure 7. )
