8. Feed quick connect fitting through the smaller opening in backpack and install retaining ring into outlet
fitting groove, making sure it is snapped into place completely. ( See Figure 8. )

9. Snap large diameter tether loop over the lugs on the filler neck nut, insert filter basket and install cap by
rotating clockwise. ( See Figure 9. )
Equipment Storage
1. The front and lower pockets can be used to carry extra gear.
The bottom pocket will hold a large fire shelter. ( See Figure 1. )

2. The side pockets can be used to store the pump with hose and have
webbing to attach additional gear. ( See Figure 2. )
