Installation Instructions
GENERAL INFORMATION
1. CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Disconnect power before
installing. For installation by a qualified electrician in accordance
with national and local electrical codes.
2. CAUTION: USE COPPER CONDUCTORS ONLY.
3. Check that the device's type and rating are suitable for the
application.
WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Connect the "HOT" lead wire (black, blue, red) from the terminal
to the ungrounded line conductor.
2. Connect the "Neutral" lead wire (white) from the terminal to
the grounded line conductor.
3. Connect the "Ground" lead wire (green, green/yellow, bare)
from the terminal to the grounding conductor.
4. Use UL Listed or CSA Certified wire connectors suitable for
copper wire only, installed per manufacturer's instructions.
5. Insert terminal into Hubbell SNAPConnect™ series receptacle
and verify security.
6. Mount device in box and secure cover/wall plate.
7. Restore power to device.
