2-ZONE COOKING
The unit has two cooking zones that can be set indepen-
dently. To set the zones independently, verify Bridge is not
activated, then adjust the front and rear zones.
SINGLE-ZONE / BRIDGE COOKING
A single cooking zone may be activated, or touch Bridge to
set both cooking zones to the same temperature. This pro-
vides a larger cooking surface at a consistent temperature.
Setting controls:
1 Touch On/Off for the front cooking zone.
Set the desired temperature of the front zone.

3 Touch Bridge to activate the rear zone at the same
temperature as the front. When bridge is activated,
illuminates on the control panel. To change the tem-
perature when bridge is activated, touch either zone.
4 To return to 2-zone cooking, touch Bridge and adjust
the temperature for each zone independently.
BRIDGE

PREHEAT
Preheat for approximately 10 minutes before adding food.
Food is cooked directly on the surface.
TIMER
The timer can be set in one-minute increments up to 99
minutes. Once a time is set,
panel and the countdown is visible on the timer display.
Refer to the illustration below. The timer is independent
from unit operation.
Setting timer:
1 Touch Timer.
Touch and hold + or – until the desired time is shown

on the timer display. The timer begins to countdown in
minutes.
3 The timer chimes with one minute remaining and com-
pletes the countdown in seconds.
When complete, the timer chimes and continues to

chime until Timer is touched.
