DO NOT OVERLOAD THE STOVE. EXCEEDING THE RECOMMENDED LOAD CAN DAMAGE PARTS OF THE
STOVE AND VOID THE WARRANTY. EXCESSIVE LOADING, IN ADDITION TO NOT BEING EFFICIENT, PRODUCES
EXCESSIVELY HIGH SMOKE TEMPERATURES THAT CAN DAMAGE THE STOVE AND CHIMNEY.

Combustion control

When combustion chamber and chimney reach the operating temperature it is possible to adjust the primary air to achieve the
maximum yield. The combustion speed, therefore the generated thermal power, is controlled by the amount of wood in the combustion
chamber and by the amount of primary air. An excessively high flame makes the wood last less and lowers the stove's yield. Maximum
yield is achieved by loading the recommended amount of wood and placing the primary air lever in the central position (operating
position). To reduce the power, move the primary air lever slightly to the left.
Combustion is efficient and clean when the flame is light yellow. If the flame is tinged with red or if there is black smoke in the
combustion chamber, it is probably necessary to increase the primary air slightly.
An initial period of use is required to understand how to correctly control combustion.
NEVER CLOSE THE PRIMARY AIR LEVER ALL THE WAY WHEN THERE IS A FLAME OR BURNING EMBERS.

Turning the stove off

To turn the stove off, proceed as described below:
1
Wait for the flame and embers to be completely extinguished.
2
When there is no flame and the bed of embers no longer releases heat, close the primary air completely.

MAINTENANCE

Safety warnings for maintenance

Maintenance of the stove must be performed at least once a year and should be planned in advance with the
Technical Assistance Service.
In some conditions, such as turning the stove on and off or inappropriate use, the combustion products can
contain small soot particles that build up in the smoke evacuation system. This can reduce the cross-section of
the smoke duct and pose a fire risk.
The smoke evacuation system must be inspected and cleaned at least once a year.
The maintenance operations must be carried out when the stove is cold and with the electrical power supply
disconnected.
Before completing any maintenance operation, adopt the following precautions:
Make sure that all stove parts are cold.
Make sure that the ashes are completely cold.
Always operate with equipment that is appropriate for maintenance.
When maintenance is finished, re-install all of the dis-assembled parts before restarting operation.
