The antenna may be connected
improperly.
The radio station you selected may be far
from your area, or the radio wave
reception is weak in your area.
Multipath reflection or other radio
interferences may have occurred.
Cause
The remote control may be operated
outside its operation range.
The remote control signal receiver on the
unit (☞ P. 3) may be exposed to direct
sunlight or lighting.
The battery may be worn out.
There are obstacles between the remote
control signal receiver on the unit and the
remote control.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Solution
Make sure the antenna is connected
properly (☞ P. 6, 7) or use a commercially
available outdoor antenna.
Try manual tuning to improve the signal
quality (☞ P. 14) or use a commercially
available outdoor antenna.
Change the height, direction, or placement
of the antenna.
Solution
For information on the remote control
operation range, refer to "Using the remote
control" (☞ P. 3).
Change the lighting or orientation of the
unit.
Replace the battery with a new one.
Remove the obstacles.
