Charge the battery

Note
If the battery capacity falls below 15 %,
the operating indicator [4] goes red.
Charge the batteries (charging socket [8] is at
the bottom on the side of the device).
Note
You can exchange battery power packs
for charged battery power packs or use
non-rechargeable batteries.

Place the device on level ground.
Press the on/off button [13] to switch the device
on.
3 The mode indicator [1] remains green once
levelling has ended.

tor [12] flashes.
If this occurs, ensure the device is horizontal.
Button for manual, automatic or ADS

X-axis inclination is possible using the but-
tons [2] and [11]. The ALARM indicator [12]
goes red. Y-axis inclination is only possible with
the optional remote control.

Button for rotation speed and scan-
ning mode [10]
Quick press: Change the rotation speed be-
tween 800, 450 and 2000 rpm
Long press: Change to scanning mode.
Thereafter press quickly to change the scanning
angle (10, 45, 90°).
Using buttons [2] and [11] the scanning beam
can be rotated in both clockwise and anticlock-
wise directions.
The laser is switched off with a long button press
(> 3 seconds) on the on/off button [13].
