MAINTENANCE
PUMP:
The pump is a three piston plunger pump
fitted with ceramic pistons.
Change water seals when continuous leaks
are observed underneath the pump casing.
Note a slight water leak, during the first few
operationals hours does not indicate faulty
seals, but indicates that these are seating.
If there is oil leaxing between pump mead
and casing, you must remove the oil, remove
the mead and change the gaskets.
N.B.: Before starting up the pump, check the
oil level in the pump: "ESSO PLUS MOTOR
OIL 20W30 or shell OIL X 100 - 20W40" are
to be used.
Change the oil after the first 50 working
hours and then after every 200 working 200
working hours.
ELECTRODES:
Check the electrodes position periodically to
obtain perfect combustion and to avoid soot.
DIESEL FILTER:
To avoid damage to fuel pump due to dirty fuel,
there is a filter (36) you must remove and clean
it periodically with a jet of air compressed. Put
it on again and check the seal gaskets with a jet
of compressed air.
BOILER:
To clean the boiler
Dismantle as follows:
1) Take down the combustion group (10).
2) Remove the boiler cover (13).
3) Remove the screws from the lining of the boiler
(16).
4) Clean the soot from the coil (18) with a stiff
brush and vacuum cleaner.
5) Rebuld every thing the operations on the
opposite side.
