JUNO FIREWALL™ FIRE RATED 4" INTERNALLY ADJUSTABLE LED
NEW CONSTRUCTION RECESSED HOUSINGS
TRIM INSTALLATION
Step 1. After ceiling is finished and painted, remove and discard paint
shield from fixture.
Step 2. Aim the fixture as desired: Adjustment angles range 0-35º.
It is recommended that the fixture always be aimed without a trim installed
and the fixture off.
The light engine heat sink slides along the frame in the recessed housing.
Grasp the optic holder and slide it on a slight curve to change the adjustment
angle. The sliding motion changes the angle of the light source (Fig. 8).
The heatsink and frame assembly can be rotated about the center axis
of the housing to aim the light (Fig. 9).
Step 3. Use 1/16" allen wrench to lock fixture adjustment if desired (Fig. 10).
Step 4. After the fixture is aimed, the trim needs to be oriented correctly
and installed in the housing. If the trim is an "angle cut" trim, it is
necessary to orient the portion of the trim that is lower near the optic
(Fig. 11).
DRIVER REPLACEMENT
Driver replacement must be performed by a qualified electrician.
Before servicing, disconnect or switch off electrical supply to the fixture.
Failure to do so can result in electrical shock and/or injury.
Step 1. Remove trim (Fig. 12).
Step 2. Remove 3 screws that secure inner housing to the plaster frame.
Inner housing will slide out of fixture (Fig. 12).
Step 3. Disconnect leads from driver to inner housing and set inner
housing aside.
Step 4. Now access the fixtures wiring by carefully pulling it through the
opening. Once exposed you can proceed with disconnecting the AC
leads that provide power to the driver and any applicable dimming wires.
Step 5. Lift fire barrier flap on the side with the red and black wires
protruding (red and black wires indicate driver location). The bottom of the
flap will have a half moon finger slot for easy lifting (Fig. 13). Before lifting
the flap, make sure the wires are pushed out of the wire slots provided in
the flap to prevent tearing the fire barrier. This will allow access to the
LED driver (Fig. 14).
Step 6. Remove wing nut from driver plate to remove driver plate from
fixture (Fig.15). Pull driver plate out while slightly lifting to release lower
mounting feet. Once free pull plate towards fixture opening and rotate
plate 90° so it will fit through fixture opening. Driver plate rubbing against
fire barrier is acceptable.
Step 7. Re-assemble fixture by completing steps 1 thru 6 in reverse order.
