POSSIBLE CAUSE
There is no voltage flowing in
the DC socket in your vehicle.
The inner fan or the cooling
element is defective.
The fuse of the DC plug is
dirty. This results in poor
electrical contact.
The fuse of the DC plug has
blown.
The vehicle fuse has blown.
The moisture in the air,
trapped inside the cooler,
condenses to water when
the temperature inside the
cooler falls.
The power lead connections
could be loose or dirty at the
compressor cooler or power
supply end.
The compressor cooler has
reached the desired target
cabinet temperature.
The internal battery
protection system has
caused the compressor
cooler to switch off because
the battery voltage is low.
There may be an internal
fault within the compressor
cooler.
The internal battery
protection system may be
causing the compressor
cooler to switch off because
the battery voltage is low.
SUGGESTED REMEDY
The ignition must be switched
on in most vehicles to apply
current to the DC socket.
This can only be repaired by an
authorised repair centre.
If the plug becomes very warm
in the DC socket fitting, either
the fitting must be cleaned
or the plug has not been
assembled correctly.
Replace the fuse of the DC plug
with one of the same rating.
Replace the vehicle's DC socket
fuse (usually 15 A). Please refer
to the operating manual of your
vehicle.
The cooler is not defective.
Wipe it out with a dry cloth if
necessary.
Check that the compressor
cooler power lead connections
have not become loose or
disconnected.
Check that the electrical
contacts have not become dirty
and are preventing full voltage
flow to the compressor cooler.
The compressor cooler is
operating correctly. No action is
required.
The compressor cooler will
automatically restart once the
restart voltage is reached.
This can only be repaired by an
authorised compressor cooler
service agent.
Check whether the voltage
supply at the compressor cooler
plug has dropped below the shut
down voltage listed in section
"Battery monitor adjustment
with anti-low voltage protection
system".
