Setting up the Mouse
Inserting the battery
Unless already done so, open the battery com-
partment on the base of the mouse and insert the
supplied rechargeable battery as per the marking in
the battery compartment.
NOTE: Only use the rechargeable battery that
is provided. Never use an alkaline battery or
any other type of non-rechargeable battery
in this product. If the original rechargeable
battery needs to be replaced, please only use a
rechargeable AAA 1.5V battery.
Connecting the USB Receiver
Start Windows. Position the USB receiver on your
desktop and plug the USB connector into any free
USB port on your computer.
Windows will automatically detect that a new
device has been connected and will install the
necessary driver itself. Wait until the following
notification appears: "Your new hardware has been
installed and is ready to use". The green operating
status light on the USB receiver should now stay
constantly lit.
Now check the operation of the mouse. The device
should work straight out of the box as the mouse
and receiver have already been factory-synchro-
nised to the same frequency. If the device does not
work, follow the instructions in the section "Syn-
chronising with the Receiver". The green operating
status light should blink if you move the mouse.
