Installation

Read the instructions in the chapter

prepared before continuing with installation and assembly. If there is any damage, do not use the instrument

but contact your local Miltenyi Biotec representative or Miltenyi Biotec Technical Support. Incorrect installation

or the operation of a damaged instrument may lead to the exposure of mechanical hazards, optical radiation

hazards, electric shock, the spread of fire, explosion, or biohazard. Read through the following instructions

carefully before commencing the installation procedure. Before opening the transportation box, check for any

visible external damage to the box. Check also to see if the shock and position indicators suggest incorrect

transportation of the instrument.

Before operating the MACSQuant® Tyto® Cell Sorter for the first time, carefully read this user manual and the

MACSQuantify™ Tyto® Software User manual and contact your local Miltenyi Biotec representative for assistance

and calibration.
