Cleaning
USE GLOVES
Switch off your lawnmower, wait until the blade
has stopped rotating and disconnect from the
mains electricity supply. It is very important that
you keep your lawnmower clean! Grass
clippings left in any of the air intakes or under
the deck could become a potential fire hazard.
1. Remove grass from under the deck with a brush.
2. Using a soft brush, remove grass clippings from
all air intakes (W1), the discharge chute and the
grassbox.
3. Lift the grass collection indicator cover, remove
the ball and brush clean, replace ball and cover
after cleaning (W2).
4. The rear rollers can be removed for cleaning
(Applicable to U.K. only). (W3)
5. Wipe over the surface of your lawnmower with a
dry cloth.
IMPORTANT
Never use water for cleaning your lawnmower.
Do not clean with chemicals, including petrol, or
solvents - some can destroy critical plastic parts.
Cutting System (X)
Always handle the blade with care - sharp edges
could cause injury.
USE GLOVES.
Renew your metal blade after 50 hours mowing
or 2 years whichever is the sooner - regardless
of condition.
If the blade is cracked or damaged replace it
with a new one.

Removing the Blade and Fan
1. Turn your lawnmower on its side.
2. To remove the blade bolt, hold the fan firmly and
with the spanner provided loosen the blade bolt
by turning it anti-clockwise.
3. Remove the blade bolt, blade, fan and fan insert.
4. Inspect for damage and clean as necessary. (Y)
Fitting the Blade and Fan
1. Turn your lawnmower on its side.
2. Fit the fan and fan insert onto the motor shaft.
3. Fit the blade onto the fan ensuring that the tabs
locate into the fan.
4. Re-assemble blade bolt through blade and fan.
5. Tighten blade bolt firmly with the spanner
provided. Do not over tighten. Do not use a
longer spanner.

Removing the Blade and Fan
1. Turn your lawnmower on its side.
2. To remove the blade bolt, hold the fan firmly and
with the spanner provided loosen the blade bolt
by turning it anti-clockwise.
3. Remove the blade bolt, blade, fan and fan insert.
4. Inspect for damage and clean as necessary. (Y)
Fitting the Blade and Fan
1. Ensure drive hub is securely in position. Place
fan on drive hub.
2. Locate blade spacer onto fan ensuring that the
slots on the blade spacer engage with the ribs on
the fan.
MAINTENANCE
The curved washer should only be fitted one
way (X).
3. Fit the curved washer over the blade bolt
ensuring the outer curved side fits against the
bolt head.
4. Place the blade bolt through the centre hole in
the blade ensuring that the blade is the correct
way up - i.e. with the Husqvarna part number on
the bolt head side.
5. Engage the blade bolt through the centre hole of
the blade spacer and tighten clockwise by hand.
6. Hold the fan firmly and tighten the blade bolt with
the spanner provided.
Service Recommendations
Your product is uniquely identified by a silver
and black product rating label.
We strongly recommend that your product is
serviced at least every twelve months, more
often in a professional application.
At the End of the Mowing Season
1. Replace blade, bolts, nuts or screws, if
necessary.
2. Clean your lawnmower thoroughly.
Storing your Lawnmower
1. Do not store your lawnmower immediately after
use.
2. Wait until the motor has cooled to avoid a
potential fire hazard.
3. Clean your lawnmower.
4. Store in a cool, dry place where your lawnmower
is protected from damage.
Fault Finding
Fails to Operate
1. Is the Power Turned On?
2. Check the fuse in the plug, if blown replace.
3. Fuse continues to blow?
Immediately disconnect from the mains
electricity supply and consult your local
approved Service Centre.
Poor Grass Collection
1. Disconnect from the mains electricity supply.
2. Clean the outside of the air intakes, the
discharge chute and the underside of the deck.
3. Raise to a higher height of cut.
4. Clean Fan Blades.
5. If poor collection persists.
Immediately disconnect from the mains
electricity supply and consult your local
approved Service Centre.
Excessive Vibration
1. Disconnect from the mains electricity supply.
2. Check that the blade is fitted correctly?
3. If the blade is damaged or worn, replace it with a
new one.
4. If vibration persists, turn the blade through 180
by first loosening the blade bolt, turning the blade
and re-tightening the blade bolt.
5. If vibration persist?
Immediately disconnect from the mains
electricity supply and consult your local
approved Service Centre.
