Problem
The Datalog CS-BS-1 is not found by the DeviceDiscovery-
Tool.
Solution
In order to check if the proxy server settings for the operating system are correct, proceed as follows:
Î Click the Start symbol on the task bar.
Î In the Settings menu, select the Control panel.
Î Double-click the Internet Options symbol.
Î Click the Connections tab.
Î Click the Settings button.
Î Tick the Use a proxy server for your LAN checkbox.
Î Click the Advanced... button.
Î Enter 169.254.0.0/16 into the Exceptions input field.
Î Close all windows by clicking OK.
Î Check if the proxy server settings for the Internet browser are correct.
In order to check if the proxy server settings for the internet browser are correct, proceed as follows:
Î Open the Internet browser.
Î In the main menu Extras, select the sub-menu Settings.
Î In the main menu Advanced, select the sub-menu Network.
Î Click the Settings button.
Î Enter 169.254.0.0/16in the No proxy for: field.
Î Close all windows by clicking OK.
