PUSH BASE ONTO
CARRIER MAST.
Insert second bolt with a
washer into adjacent hole.
Position clear sleeve so bolt
can pass through.
Attach washer
and nut.
INSTALL HITCH NUT —
ATTACH BASE TO HITCH.
Slide nut housing into
end of carrier.
CRADLES HAVE A FRONT AND BACK.
The smooth
depression on
right front side
must face
TOWARD you.
ALIGN HOLES IN MAST AND BASE.
At center hole near end: Insert bolt and washer.
Attach another washer and nut to bolt.
TIGHTEN with adjustable-
end wrenches.
WARNING:
DO NOT
OVER-TIGHTEN
THIS BOLT!
The hole in hitch
must align to hole
in carrier base.
Your product includes a
stop-rivet.
Flex cradles and push over
stop-rivet on mast.
TIGHTEN with
adjustable-end
wrenches.
Insert pin into
holes in plates
and through mast.
LARGE BOLT AND
LOCK-WASHER.
Insert hitch bolt
and washer from
right to left.
Use a 7/8 or
15/16 inch
socket wrench
and TIGHTEN.
The cradle with
YAKIMA should
go on last, with
"YAKIMA" facing out.
Secure wire onto
end of hitch pin.
SECURE hitch bolt
with safety clip.
