Fused switch disconnector
Instructions
Safety from finger-touch
To IEC 60529, DIN 40 050
Degree of protection:
Flange connection IP 00, Flange connection with connection cover IP 20
SIGUT connection IP 20
Flat/SIGUT connection with connection cover/insulating plate:
with closed grip set IP 30
with open grip set IP 20
Commissioning and maintenance by qualified persons only.
Follow the operating instructions!
WARNING:
HAZARDOUS VOLTAGE
CAN CAUSE ELECTRICAL SHOCK
AND BURNS.
DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE PROCEEDING
WITH ANY WORK ON THIS EQUIPMENT.
Application
The fuse switch disconnectors are used for closing on and disconnection of rated
operating currents up to 160 A AC.
Installation
For dimension drawings,
Fig. Ia
see
Maintain clearances to earthed components!
For permissible mounting positions, see Fig. Ib
For rear mounting, see Fig. IIa, b
For installation apertures and mounting holes, see
Fit contact carrier with 2 M5 (not hexagonal-head) screws. Always use plain and
spring washers.
Fit insulating-material block 3NY72.., see
Connection cover 3NY7101 for cable lug connection, see Fig. III.
If necessary, can be locked into position on the device at both connection sides by
pressing into guide slot.
Unlock by pressing on cover
For fitting on standard mounting rail, see Fig. IV.

Maintenance
Grease the main contacts according to switching rate (with Shell Alvania RLQ2 or
another high-grade aging-resistant mineral-oil-based lithium-soap grease/worked
penetration: 265 - 295, service temperature: -30 to +120 °C).
