CHARGING PROCESS

The steps needed to perform charging and manage it based on the selected operating mode.

11.1. VEHICLE CHARGING IN ECO MODE

The recharging station is always accessible and ready to begin a charging session as soon as a vehicle is con-
nected.
As indicated in chapter 9, the ECO mode is set by default.
In order to customise the charging mode, the "I-CON MANAGER" APP must be used to:
1. Select a charging range to be used
2. Set a time range for vehicle charging
It is necessary to set a time range for charging.
To enable a recharging session:
#
Action to be carried out

in the vehicle
2
or
Connect the mobile connector to the vehicle.
If a time range is set for enabling the charging, the station will
3A
remain in stand-by until the set time is reached
If a time range is not set for enabling charging, the station will
3B
immediately manage the communication with the vehicle
4
The vehicle requests energy from the recharging station
5
Charging session in progress but car battery charged
The charging session was not interrupted by the customer
6A
before the end of the set time, therefore it was ended directly
by the charging station
The charging session was ended by the customer by discon-
6B
necting the cable from the vehicle
7
If the station detects no errors, it will return to standby
NOTE= To end the charging session, stop it first on the vehicle (the method will change depending on the vehicle model.
we suggest you refer to the manual of your vehicle to find the right method). The cable can now be removed from the
vehicle, terminating the charging operation. The station will now allow you to remove the plug.
NOTE 2= Some electric car models may have a minimum charge power limit. In order to guarantee a better user expe-
rience, please use the car's instruction manual to check what this value is in order to correctly select the power value to
enter in the App. For example, Renault Zoe® can currently be charged with powers no lower than approx. 1.8 KW (8 A)
for single-phase charging and 8.5 KW (13 A) for three-phase charging. Therefore these will be the minimum to be used.
Attention: setting lower values in the App could prevent charging from starting.
