Thank you for choosing this GYS product; please read this instruction manual carefully before installing and using the product,
and keep in a safe place for future reference.
DESCRIPTION
Convergys converts the input current from your 12V battery to a 230V output. It can be connected using:
• The car cigarette lighter (model 150W and 300W)
• Directly to the battery (300W model only)
The CONVERGYS are fan-cooled
The maximum continuous power delivered is:
• CONVERGYS 150W = 150 Watts
• CONVERGYS 300W = 300 Watts
SECURITY
• Before use, check that the product is compatible with your car cigarette lighter and if it delivers the necessary current to the
device you want to plug in (150W for the Convergys 150W and 300W for the Convergys 300W)
• Do not expose the inverter to: moisture, direct sunlight, high temperatures, or dust.
• Do not dismantle or modify the product.
• To prevent electrical shock, never touch an electrical device with wet hands.
• This product is not suitable for children.
• If a malfunction occurs, stop using the inverter immediately and disconnect.
• Ensure adequate ventilation and do not obstruct the air inlets/outlets.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The inverters are equipped with thermal and overload protection as well as an under and overvoltage protection.
The 300W model is equipped with a red warning light and a buzzer in case of malfunction (see TROUBLESHOOTING page 8).

ADVICE FOR USE

The CONVERGYS can be used whilst the engine is on or off. For heavy use, or use over a long period of time, you should start
the engine to prevent discharge of the vehicle battery.
Do not start the car while the CONVERGYS is connected.
Some devices require high starting power that can exceed the power of the inverter; this can engage the overload protection
which will cause the machine to switch off. When using multiple devices, ensure they are turned on one after another starting
with the most powerful device.
COMPATIBILITY
Before use, you must check the compatibility of your device with the Convergys:
Compatible devices: (maximum 150W for Convergys 150W and 300W for Convergys 300W):
• Office equipment: computers, scanners, printers etc ...
• Digital products: mobile phones, video cameras, DVD players etc ...
• Small devices: Flat screen TVs, fans, vacuum cleaners, irons etc ...
Non-compatible devices:
• The products exceeding the limit of the converter power: 150W or 300W depending on Convergys models
• Products with high energy consumption: air conditioners, microwaves, high power electric drills, refrigerators etc...
Compatible devices with the USB port (5V - 500mA):
• USB port of Convergys is suitable to power compatible devices; it cannot be used to exchange data.
• Do not connect a device greater than 500mA as this may damage the USB port.
• Follow the manufacturer's recommendations if the device requires a specific charger.
