7. Take the end of the return hose (A) and
connect to the hose adapter that has been
previously inserted into the IN (left) side of
on the Solar Heater. Make sure that a hose
clamp is in place. Tighten the hose clamp
to secure hose end onto hose adapter.
NOTE: It is important that the hose has a
tight fit over the adapters to ensure that
no leaks occur.
hose ends resist fitting easily over the
adapters. Therefore, you may have to
soak the ends of the hoses in hot water
to soften up before inserting over the
hose adapters.
8. Using the flex hose included in this kit,
connect one end (C) of the flex hose to the
hose adapter previously inserted into the
OUT (right) side of the Solar Heater. Make
sure that a hose clamp is in place. Tighten
to secure. Connect the other end, D, to the
pool return inlet (B). Tighten hose clamp to
secure.
NOTE: Your Solar Heater should follow this same basic configuration process. Please keep in
mind that not all above-ground pools have the INLET and OUTLET in the same location as this
image. The most important thing to remember is that the hose coming from the filter MUST go
into the IN side of the Solar Heater and the hose connected to the OUT side of the Solar Heater
feeds back into the INLET of the pool. Orient the Solar Heater as needed to ensure this order
process is followed.
