It contains a 500W class D power amplifier module for the woofer, a 60W class AB
power amplifier for the driver, independent clip limiters for each way and internal
signal processing.
Connection to the SM-12D8 is made via two parallel balanced XLR connectors. AC
power connectors are 230V operation PowerCon type.
The SM-12D8 has been made of vibration and moisture-resistant birch plywood. The
finish, which uses totally ecological water-based acrylic resin black paint, provides an
excellent external protection. It includes a 1.5mm steel front grille with acoustically
transparent foam, as well.
Wedge shape. Dimensions are 57.6cm high, 39cm Wide and 39.5cm deep. When
used as a floor monitor, the front baffle of the SM-12D8 is oriented at 40º with respect
to vertical.
