Intended use
This appliance is only used for mixing food,
mixing drinks, chopping, rasping, grating
and slicing food, whipping cream and egg
whites, stirring light dough and creamy foods
and squeezing citrus fruits (oranges, lemons,
grapefruits) for use in the household or simi-
lar non-commercial establishments such as
staff kitchens in shops, cafés, offices or any
other business environment; agricultural es-
tablishments; use by guests in hotels, motels
or other residential areas; bed and breakfast
establishments.
Any use other than previously stated is con-
sidered as improper use.

Requirements for the place of
operation
For safe and trouble-free operation of the ap-
pliance, the installation location must satisfy
the following requirements:
Place the appliance on a firm and flat sur-
face.
The surface finishes on furniture may con-
tain substances that can be detrimental to
the feet of the appliance. If necessary, place
a mat under the feet of the appliance.
Do not place the appliance in a hot, wet or
very humid environment or in the vicinity of
inflammable materials.
Never place the appliance or parts of
the appliance in the vicinity of strong heat
sources and hot surfaces (e.g., heaters,
oven, grill).
The mains socket must be easily accessi-
ble and allow fast disconnection in the event
of an emergency.
Do not lay tablecloths, cloths or serviettes
under the feet of the appliance, the appliance
could slide away.
Do not place the appliance on the edge of
the table. It could fall down.
The mains cable may not hang down from
the worktop an be within the reach of chil-
dren.
The appliance may not be used or stored
outdoors.
Electrical connection
For safe and trouble-free operation of the
appliance, the following instructions on the
electrical connection must be observed:
Before connecting the appliance, compare
the connection data (voltage and frequency)
on the rating plate with those of your mains
power supply. This data must correspond in
order to avoid damage to the appliance. If in
doubt, ask your electrical appliance retailer.
The mains socket must be protected by at
least a 16 A fuse.
Ensure that the mains cable is undam-
aged and is not laid over hot surfaces or
sharp edges.
