Connect wiring for repellent circuit

Place one continuous length of landscaping cable between all fixtures and the power supply .

Make electrical connections at each ground stake using connectors and adapter provided .

Turn locking ring on the connector to separate and open halves .
•
Two adapters are provided . One is marked 16-18 gauge and another is marked 14-16 gauge .
•
Select the adapter that matches gauge of the landscaping cable .
•
Slide the appropriately sized adapter onto the cable . (Figure 1)

Insert adapter and cable into lower hallf .
•
Align upper half of connector with lower half . Press halves together and turn locking ring as shown .
Metal tabs inside the connector will pierce the cable insulation and make a positive connection when
tightened fully . (Figure 2)

Locate wire from the fixture . Insert the tinned ends into openings on upper half of the connector .
Make sure they are completely inserted and secure . Apply dielectric grease - both holes . (Figure 3)
Repeat this procedure for each fixture to complete the circuit .

To prevent electrical shock, disconnect power supply before making
fixture electrical connections.
Make all connections ABNVT grade and test each circuit before cable is
buried.
To prevent corrosion and electrical faults, liberally apply silicon dielectric
grease at all openings on the connector and where cable insulation is
pierced. See Figs. 1-3. (Available separately from your local hardware
store.)
